Cranberry Salad

When you think of cranberry salad what do you think?  Do you think of that jar of grossness?  I always thought of that until my grandma started making this recipe.  The recipe is relatively healthy and absolutely delicious.  I crave it for all holiday meals.

For the recipe, you will need:
-1 package of Cherry Jello
-2 cups of hot water
- 1 cup sugar
-1 can crused pineapples in juice
-2-3 apples chopped
-2 oranges
-1 lb cranberries finely chopped
-1 cup celery chopped
-1/2 cups walnuts

Directions:
Boil 2 cups of water.  Then add sugar and disolve.  Once the sugar is disolved add the Cherry Jello packet.  Stir.  Once disolved pour into large bowl.  Pour in can of pineapples and the juice.  Place the bowl in the refridgerator.

While the jello combo is cooling, chop apples, peal oranges (remove skin), chop cranberries and celery.  Add these items plus the nuts to the jello mixture.  Stir.  Then place in fridge until jello forms.

Enjoy!
